What We're WearingCan you believe Christmas is in 10 days?? I certainly can't! Even though Olivia and I started celebrating the holiday sooner this year (because why not bring a little early holiday cheer to lighten up this year?), I still can't believe Christmas is so close. Maybe its the lack of snow on the ground this year, but it still feels like November! Just me? Maybe. Every year for the holiday season I absolutely love getting out a few specific pieces in my wardrobe. My favourite of all? PLAID. There is just something so cute and festive about it, especially when it is red, green, or both! This red and black plaid dress is such a cute pattern and is so warm and cozy for winter! To dress it up for a classic look, pair it with pearls and these velvet pumps. To dress it down, I love to wear it with my L.L Bean Boots for the perfect rustic look. Do you have any festive looks you have been loving this year? Love, ~ Anna

We just got a huge snowfall to kick off the start of December. It was can't see across the street snowy, so it was the perfect day to curl up by the fire with a cup of hot chocolate to watch a classic Christmas movie. Once the snowstorm cleared up, it was absolutely beautiful outside! So, I threw on my new wool turtleneck from The Gap and a cute pair of jeans to go enjoy the fresh snow and sunny weather. This black turtleneck is so versatile and can be worn so many ways, it is such a fun basic that I am so excited to style! Today I styled it with jeans, L.L Bean boots and three different scarves. Personally, I am loving the red, green, and white plaid scarf for the Christmas holidays. This outfit feels so festive, especially with a red lip! This red and black scarf pairs so well with this outfit, and creates the perfect look that can be worn in both fall and winter. This plaid cape is so warm! It's styled casually with this outfit, but I love that it can be styled both up and down! Love, ~ Anna It is finally that time of year again. It's getting colder, it's beginning to snow, and we just put our Christmas tree up and have begun decorating the house for Christmas. This is by far my favorite time of year, and I am embracing every minute of it! Every year I find myself struggling to find the perfect gifts for my friends and family. Usually I resort to window shopping until I finally come across the gift that screams it's the right one. Unfortunately, this year has made that quite hard with the move away from in person shopping to online shopping. Let me tell you, it has been a struggle. Personally, sitting down to peruse the internet for gifts has been SO hard and I have almost given up more times than I can count. Nevertheless, I came up with some amazing presents that I am so excited to give this year! I have compiled some of my favorite gift ideas in this blog post to make Christmas shopping a little easier on you this year. I really hope you enjoy them! I would love to hear your Christmas present ideas that you have found this year! Leave them in the comments below.
Love, ~ Anna Old Navy is such a good brand for chic and budget friendly pieces! I often shop here for basics and they never disappoint. This year they have some really cute fall pieces that are the perfect addition to your wardrobe as they can be paired with so many things you already have. I specifically love the sherpa sweater because it looks so cozy! I am also really loving t-shirt dresses this season, and this striped long sleeve would look so good with a jean jacket on top and some white sneakers! Plus, its only $33! Love, ~ Anna I usually love window shopping, and I love seeing new arrivals each season. There is something about fall and winter new arrivals that make me particularly excited, probably because they are my favorite seasons for fashion trends. Cozy sweaters, riding boots, coats and scarves are some of my all time favorite pieces. I have a huge collection of scarves and coats, because I strongly feel they are such staple pieces in a wardrobe, and will last so long. They also just bring me a lot of joy. I especially love J.Crew's autumn and winter new arrivals, as they seem to always bring out such cute pieces! J.Crew Factory has also become one of my favorite places to shop because you can always find such good deals, and right now they are having a 60-70% off sale! So, I thought I would share some of my favorite J.Crew New Arrivals. I hope you enjoy! What are some of your favorite new finds? Love always, ~ Anna Happy fall everyone! I am so excited that autumn is finally here! Despite that it has been a warmer start to fall (not complaining by any means because as someone who is constantly cold, I am loving it!), the leaves have started changing and we have been enjoying all of the fall things. From pumpkin pie and apple crisp to halloweentown movie nights, we have been fully embracing this season. There is something about fall that always feels like a bit of a fresh start. Maybe it's because I have always related this season with going back to school, which I miss way more than I ever would have expected as I am a graduate now. Here's hoping I'll get to go back to school again sometime soon, but for now I will live vicariously through Olivia who is in her second year of University. In light of the fall season, I wanted to share some of my favorite wardrobe staples that have lasted me many years. I hope you enjoy! What are your wardrobe fall staples? Love from, ~ Anna Hey everyone, I hope you all had a lovely summer! This summer has definitely looked so much different for me, as I can imagine it probably did for you too. It was much more restful, with lots of time spent at home rather than my usual travelling and exploring. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss going on adventures this summer, but I did love the time it gave me to become closer with my family, and take more time for myself. It also gave my sister and I SO much time to hangout which I feel so blessed by; we truly had so much fun. As we go into the new season of fall (my favorite!), I am hopeful for what is to come. But before we transition right into autumn, which I am so excited for, I thought I would show you some items and pieces I have been loving over the summer! What are some of your favorites from this summer? Love from, ~ Anna I absolutely love patterns, whether it be plaid, floral or stripes. I feel like they enhance an outfit and make it stand out just a little bit more. Gingham is one pattern that I think looks so timeless, and I have quite a few pieces in this print. I have seen some of my favorite bloggers, particularly Abby from Belleoftheball45, wearing gingham pants. I love the way they look in an outfit, and I love that you can dress them up or down. So, a while ago I ended up buying a pair for myself from Margaret M, and I have loved them. They are not only so cute, but they are one of the most comfortable pair of pants that I own. I find them to be form fitting and slimming, but also super stretchy, which I love! Being 5’2, they are a bit long on me, but I just tuck the bottom under once and they are the perfect length! detailsTop (similar), Cardigan (exact), Shoes (exact)
Unfortunately, they don’t carry the pant in gingham print at this time, but they do have some adorable prints for summer and fall! I have linked the pant I have in a navy and white diamond print here. I have also linked a beautiful gingham pant from J.Crew Factory that I have considered purchasing on multiple occasions, and would have if I didn’t already have a pair. Bonus: they are 63% off right now! You can find them here. Love from, ~ Anna Living in apple country, one of my favorite things to do is take a walk through the apple orchards. I find it so peaceful, and it always leaves me feeling happy and refreshed afterward. I always love the apple blossoms that come out in the spring time because they are absolutely gorgeous, and make for such beautiful photos! The minute I see them, I am reminded that summer is on its way, and that brings me so much joy. So in light of summer coming, I threw on one of my favorite summer dresses from J.Crew to go walking through the apple blossoms. This dress is one of my staple summer pieces, because it is such an easy outfit. That is one of my favorite things about dresses, you can put it on with a cute pair of shoes and a bag and you have a perfect outfit in a matter of seconds! This dress in particular is so cute with its blue and white seersucker stripes, and it has pockets which is always a plus! Unfortunately, J.Crew doesn’t sell this style anymore, so I have linked a few other adorable dresses that are similar! Olivia wore such a cute top that she found while thrift shopping in Myrtle Beach last summer. It is literally the cutest, and I have to say I have definitely stolen it a few times…shh. It is super comfy, light and perfect for warm days. Stripes are a very strong staple in our wardrobes, because they just seem to go with everything. You will definitely see us wearing them often! shop this post~ Anna
We are finally beginning to get ready for Christmas now that Meg is home for the holidays. Today we made gingerbread cookies, wrapped presents, and decorated the Christmas tree. It's been so great to spend quality time together again and catch up on each other's lives (while listening to our favorite Christmas music, of course). Last year we decided to find some new ornaments for our tree to give it more flare, which made decorating the tree this year far more exciting. I also took a trip to Winners and bought the cutest gift bags that I loved matching with the adorable gift tags I purchased! Here are a few photos of our day, enjoy! Happy last minute tree decorating and present wrapping!
